Today.. well yesterday
Submitted by Gib82 on 19 November 2008 - 11:54pm.A few things that I experienced today..
I heard the new Guns and Roses album, Chinese Democracy.. (I kind of wish that I lived in the states so that i could have got my free Dr Pepper)
Im not a huge G’N’R fan, but goddamn, I only listened to the first 4 songs and i can safely say that it is one of the biggest piles of shit that i have ever heard
Listen to, if you can, track #4 ‘Street of Dreams’.. There were 4 seperate occasions at work today, where people who listened to it cracked up laughing at how shocking it is
It took them 14 years to make that?
What does everyone (who has used it) think of the new xbox(wii)360 dash xperience thing?
I thought that it was kind of cool and scary because of the newness
Album review: Metallica - Death Magnetic
Submitted by Panda on 19 October 2008 - 5:27pm.
Whenever a group once considered at the vanguard of their specific genre reaches a stage wherein musical innovation is deemed either counterproductive to record sales or simply too much effort, observers from all corners usually emerge from the woodwork to inform us all how terribly dull they’ve become.
However, potential detractors of mainstream metal stalwarts Metallica will have a hard time being heard over legions of Gen-X era horn-throwing formerly-bemulletted bedroom thrashers who would like to make it very clear that any perceived return to the high energy metal-up-your-ass 80s headbanging era of the band is more than welcome, and you can stick your long-winded overly wordy reviews up your motherfucking ass, bitch.
Imminent

The XBOX Boys
Submitted by Jaggerjack on 8 September 2008 - 5:21pm.I just stopped by Myspace, as I do most every day of my sad and sorry life.
The featured band for today is: The XBOX Boys;
Listen to their hit new single “Master Chief” today!
They are fairly horrible, but amusing, if they make a living from this, they are doing well
Bon Iver - Re: Stacks
Submitted by Panda on 24 August 2008 - 8:07pm.
Fans of excellent television may recall this song from the House season finale several months ago, in which the writers, presumably following through on some sort of mid-strike drunken boast, endeavoured to prove they could break our hearts even by killing off a character nobody really liked in the first place. And annoyingly, succeeded.
The song doesn’t have a film clip as far as I’m aware, but as fan-created Youtube montages go, I’ve seen much worse than this. This is one of my favourite songs though. Enjoy!
A knob in the hand is worth two in the bush

Whoa! SenseSurface lets you control software rotary pots with actual physical knobs. Pictured on a laptop, but it would be sweet on a 22 inch lcd running some soft synths. I would like to see some linear faders too, thank you.
Sunny, Sunny, Sunny
Submitted by Jaggerjack on 16 July 2008 - 2:57am.Nintendo’s conference was relatively boring this morning!
Secret Santa
Submitted by Jaggerjack on 14 July 2008 - 6:51pm.So, this one comes from a well-known band from the East, 4 members, influenced by tool and system of a down.
It’s a relatively new release, and will hide in the darkest corners of the internet for a while I’m sure.

Agony, and ironic titles?
Submitted by Jeffo on 15 June 2008 - 4:56pm.
This is one album that I will not be paying for when it does get released. In all honesty, I’ll probably be deleting this album from my server in the next few days.
I was going to write a full report on my feelings about this album, but I don’t think it deserves the time. It feels like a high school student’s musical project if the weeks topic was ‘emo’. A paint by numbers album, none of the songs have any energy or emotion or anything to keep you from hitting the fast forward button.
Disappointing guys. Get your old drummer back.
p.s. I just wanted to add that before yesterday I freaking loved this band. Ever since ‘From here to Infirmary’ there has been a downward slope to their work, but I didn’t think they’d ever release anything bad enough to put me off. I was wrong.
I recorded a song
Submitted by Jeffo on 25 May 2008 - 11:55pm.
I was told about this competition the other day. Before I actually read any of the rules I decided I’d make some music and sing really badly and record it all. Then I read the rules and realised that I am not eligible anyway. Oh well. It’s on the internet and maybe people will watch it.
Blah blah blah.
They can't make up their minds
Submitted by Jeffo on 11 April 2008 - 8:57pm.It was announced, then denied, now it's official(y fucked up the gay boy ass)
